Blade Runner’ Gun Sells For $270,000
By
Despite initially expecting rougly $100K-$150K, the gun used by Harrison Ford in Warner Bros. 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner has sold at a Live Auctioneers auction for a whopping $270,000.
Only one version of this gun was ever made. It was built to actually fire by mating a Steyr-Mannlicher Model .222 SL receiver on to a Charter Arms .44 police bulldog double-action revolver. It features custom amber grips, dual triggers, and futuristic illuminating LEDs (four red and two green) that can be activated by a small switch mounted beneath the barrel.
One lucky collector can now retire Replicants at will.
