“To Sext or Not to Sext” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)
JOHN SCHNEIDER (“SMALLVILLE“) AND RUMER WILLIS (“SORORITY ROW”) GUEST STAR — Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) is still furious with Annie (Shenae Grimes) from prom night and contemplates sending out a sexually explicit text message of Annie as payback. Silver (Jessica Stroup) is convinced that she and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) can mend their broken relationship, but Naomi and Adrianna (Jessica LowndeS) convince her to give him some much-needed space. Liam (Matt Lanter) attempts to apologize to Naomi for what happened on prom night and denies sleeping with Annie, but refuses to reveal who he was with. Meanwhile, Liam and Dixon join the surf team, in an effort to keep Liam’s stepfather (guest star John Schneider, “Smallville”) from sending him off to military school. Adrianna helps Navid (Michael Steger), now in charge of The Blaze News, land an interview with Teddy (guest star Trevor Donovan), but she is shocked with Navid’s interviewing tactics. Ryan (Ryan Eggold) continues to pursue Jen (guest star Sara Foster), who continues to play hard-to-get. Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin also star. Tony Wharmby directed the episode written by Jennie Snyder Urman (#202).
On the first season finale of 90210, Naomi was under the impression that Annie slept with her boyfriend, Liam. Even though Liam actually did the deed with Naomi’s sister, Jen, this isn’t exactly a misunderstanding that will be cleared up any time soon. Just ask AnnaLynne McCord. When asked if her character and Annie would rekindle their friendship this fall, McCord said: “Never. Not going to happen. I’m sorry. I wish.”
As for other 90210 season two news, Michael Steger (Navid) told E! News that the show will be making Andrea Zuckerman and Brandon Walsh proud: it will take advantage of a new and improved student newspaper office.
“They’re talking about renovating The Blaze newsroom, so it’s going to be where everything happens and everybody meets up. They’re going to make it very loungey, very comfortable,” Steger said.
Viewers will meet Rumer Willis in The Blaze newsroom next season, as the aspiring actress guest stars as a student named Gia.
Liam turns out to be the real projection of Dylan McKay. In the next “90210” the character portrayed by Matt Lanter, will stir things up between Annie and Naomi. Naomi convinces Annie to go on a double date with Liam’s friend, but Annie is shocked at the way the evening ends.
Also in Naomi’s world, when her older sister, Jen (guest star Sara Foster) shows up, Naomi has no idea she is about to shake things up in Beverly Hills. “By the end of the season, there’s going to be some major drama with (Naomi) and her sister and possibly Annie. There’s some problem with her sister. She comes in and she definitely makes things tough in 90210. People are definitely going to be angry and betrayed,” Matt revealed previously.
Meanwhile, Navid and Adrianna fantasize about their future, but when they tell his parents about their decision to spend the rest of their lives together, things don’t go as they planned. Silver and Dixon adjust to her new school, while the Wilsons are dealing with having Naomi as their new house guest.
“The Dionysian Debacle” airs April 28.
