SmallVille TV show moves around the life of teenager Clark Kent. SmallVille is a town that gets destroyed by a huge meteor shower in October 1989. The meteor was actually a spaceship from Krypton and there was an infant in the spaceship, Kal-El, the only survivor on the planet.
The child was discovered and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent and they named him ‘Clark Kent’. After his arrival in the town strange things start happen but his extraordinary powers kept secret from the rest of the community. Clark has two best friends, Pete Ross and Chloe Sullivan and a crush on the school’s hottest girl, Lana Lang. Clark deals with his super powers and copes with his friendship with a young Lex Luther. Clark is advised by his parents never to use his awesome superpowers but they are also hiding a secret from him that they found him inside a spaceship. When he begins to develop his powers and discover more and more abilities that will soon transform him into a Superman, Clark begins to take on his mantle as the Man of Steel.

Smallville is a great show. Think it is one of the best shows of the superman series. The show stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent; Kristen Kreuk as Lana Lang; Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor; Alison Mack as Chloe Sullivan; Annette O’toole as Martha Kent and John Schneider as Jonathon Kent. The first series featured Sam Jone III as Clark’s friends Pete Ross; Eric Johnson as Lana’s boyfriend Whitney.
Other characters throughout the years have included John Glover as Lex’s dad Lionel Luthor; Sarah Jane Redmond as Lana’s aunt Nel and Jenson Ackles as another boyfriend of Lana’s.
In the pilot episode the meteor shower brought Clark from Krypton to Earth in a spaceship. This meteor shower killed Lana’s parents; made 9-year old Lex Luthor go Bald and caused death and destruction in Smallville. In this episode Clark found out he was from another planet.
Throughout the years Clark has developed many new super powers and the story of superman keeps unfolding. Smallville is a very excitin show!
Advantages: Good characters and exciting storylines
Disadvantages: Jonathon and Martha have left - it jusst isn’t the same without them
