An independent-minded police detective solves crimes on the streets of New York City. Lt. Theo Kojak is a bald, lollipop-sucking detective also known for his trademark catch-phrase, “Who Loves Ya, Baby?” His boss is Capt. Frank MacNeil, with whom Kojak has a lot in common, who was later promoted to Chief of Detectives. His most trusted assistants are Det. Bobby Crocker and Det. Stavros.
