NBC’s ‘Kings’ Replaced With ‘Dateline’ on Sundays

   Posted by: admin   in News

Performing less than stellar, “Kings” is yanked out of its privilege Sundays slot. The relatively new show starring Ian McShane received low ratings in its first four episodes, posting an invisible 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 last Sunday, April 5.

NBC however, are not giving up on the show but they move it to Saturdays where the network usually have re-runs. The empty Sundays slot meanwhile, will be filled with a second hour of “Dateline” which will now run starting at 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. The switch is also aimed to lift “The Apprentice” which has suffered from viewers lost due to “Kings” lead-in.

“Kings” will effectively air on Saturday, April 18 with “Judgment Day”. In the episode, the kingdom prepares for Judgment Day, an annual event where ten cases are chosen for King Silas to preside over. When Michelle and David are forced to compete for the tenth case, their relationship becomes strained. Jack and Katrina’s relationship intensifies as they conspire to attain more power. The king and queen’s nephew Andrew Cross returns to the kingdom after years in exile, stirring up old conflicts within the royal family.
