[JUDGE HAROLD "HAL" FARNSWORTH] Mid 4s to mid 50s, this judge who happens to be gay was just transferred in from Westchester Civil makes it clear that he owns his courtroom, first by handing out his “Court Rules” to his attorneys, next by actually pulling a gun from under his robes at an enraged defendant who’s about to hurl his chair at him. Farnsworth intends to run his courtroom “with all the professionalism of federal court,” and refuses out of hand all continuances, consent adjournments and motions that are not hand-delivered in advance to chambers.
