Rick Hearst: Returning to The Bold and the Beautiful

The rumor has become a reality: Rick Hearst, who was bumped to recurring status at General Hospital, has found a new/old home on The Bold and the Beautiful. The actor will reprise his role of Whipple “Whip” Jones on the CBS soap opera, as Brooke’s ex-husband returns from working abroad for Forrester International.



What brings the character to Los Angeles? According to TV Guide, Stephanie plans his return, presumably to oversee the PR campaign for Jackie M… but look for Jackie to suspect that a secret agenda is at play. Whip last was seen in August 2002. Hearst’s returning airdate is scheduled for July 17.
