Sit down, Shut Up is a new animated series, with animated characters against non-animated backgrounds, on FOX that depicts the lives and quirks of nine staffers at a high school in a small fishing town. This series shows that teachers have lives and personal problems too.

The nine staffers are:

Sue Sezno, the acting principal likes to say no a lot. The real principal is out due to several injuries he sustained, which appear to be more like escape wounds.

Stuart Prozackian is the always upbeat and cheery vice principal, who is being secretly medicated by the other staff members.

Larry Slimp is the gym teacher with a crush on the science teacher.

Miracle Grohe is the spiritual science teacher.

Willard Deutschebog is the German teacher with a bleak outlook on life.

Helen Klench is the unneeded librarian being overlooked by Google searches now.

Andrew Sapien is the drama teacher.

Ennis Hofftard is a body building health teacher who wants all of the student to think of him as a “cool dude” around school.

Happy is the misunderstood custodian.
