Smallville 8.04 Instinct - preview on Maxima
Exec Brian Peterson previews next week’s episode for Smallville:
- Tess Mercer experiments with the crystal from the Fortress.
- Intergalactic sex goddess Maxima goes to earth and infects two of the cast members (any guesses? I say Clark Kent and __ ?)
- Lois gets in trouble.
Maxima is a DC comics character from the “Superman” series. She has an interesting history as a turncoat and seductress. To get on Superman’s goodie list, she joined Justice League and helped fought Doomsday. Later she joined Captain Atom’s Extreme Justice, hoping to get him for a mate. When that didn’t work out, she went back to Superman, who was now married to Lois Lane. So, slighted woman that she was, she became a supervillain with the Superman Revenge Squad. Her saving grace was sacrificing her life for her ship against Brainiac’s Warworld.
