Smallville 8.12 Bulletproof
ByThe mid-year episodes of Smallville
officially started with Legion. Legion saw Chloe restored to herself - memories intact and all- and off to Star City to be at her husband Jimmy’s bedside. Lana we learned has secrets and some great destiny- personally I could care less about this but it appears that the next Lana filled episodes will be full of Lana and her Lanaful self. Poor Tess appears to be the object of her attentions- meanwhile Clark is going undercover to find out who shot Jon aka Martian Manhunter. OSCK has had too many years of Lana and her storylines and could care less about her- we will not be reviewing the next three episodes nor will we be watching them live. I will work on getting clips of Clark from this episode up so you can see him investigating on his own and hopefully helping Jon restore his powers.
I will be watching the return of Bones and their two hour event on Thursday at 8- supporting my favorite network FOX. Supernatural is all new following Smallville- I will watch it on the same night. Sorry- my Blahna tolerance level has been exceeded. The five minutes of screentime devoted to her in Bride was about right. I am so sick and tired of everyone else having to worship at the altar of Lana- having Tess call her beautiful in the clip below is just gross. Anyone else remember Wither where the costume lady fell over herself complimenting Lana? We get it- she’s attractive. How about being a good person who does things without expecting anything in return or without other self-serving motives? Oh yeah- that’s not her. That does describe both of Clark’s other friends- Chloe and Lois. Guess it runs in their family but not in Blahna’s.
Lana leaves for good after the next three episodes are done- you will be able to see Kristin Kreuk in theaters soon in the movie Street Fighter and we wish her luck in all of her future work outside of Smallville. Lana? Well Lana we want gone - far far away because as usual when she is around Clark takes a back seat and ends up in the shadows.
