24‘s seventh season may not officially begin until January 2009, but Fox is about to treat Bauer-hungry fans to an unprecedented dose of extra awesomeness in the form of 24: Redemption. This two-hour TV movie, which was filmed on location in South Africa and Los Angeles, promises to bridge the gap between seasons six and seven while starting off your Thanksgiving week with a hearty helping of pure adrenaline.

The Totally Intense Scenario:

The first moments of 24: Redemption find the heroic Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) immersed in missionary work at a school in Africa–but this
altruistic pastime is cut short by an urgent international crisis. A merciless
warlord is forcibly drafting young children into the cruel ranks of his private
militia, and Bauer is the only man qualified to stop this atrocity–but back in
America, his expertise is needed as well.
