The Plot: Jim Carrey narrates this underwater look at the diverse coastal regions of Southern Australia, New Guinea, and the Indo-Pacific areas, and the impact of global warming on the oceans.
Deep Sea is like the Dark Side of the Moon of IMAX movies, in that it has been in general release since for over two years, and has grossed nearly $60 million in that time. No wonder Disney is rushing this sequel into theaters, with all the right behind-the-camera talent back in place. (Though I feel like they traded down a bit in the narrator department?)
